Mobile operators offer unlimited access to Telegram

MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operators have started adding Telegram to tariffs with unlimited access to messengers, spokespeople for the companies told PRIME on Tuesday.

Yota opened unlimited access to Telegram in late June, almost immediately after the country had lifted restrictions against the messenger after two years of muting for its reluctance to share decoding keys with the Federal Security Service.

Tele2 also offered a service allowing clients to save data traffic on messengers. An operator official said most of bundles include unlimited access to messengers WhatsApp, Viber, TamTam, and social networks Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte, and Odnoklassniki.

MTS is in the progress of zeroing traffic of the messenger in bundles and options that include unlimited access to messengers.
